ACTRIS, MaxCyte and SciMed Asia co-organised a hands-on workshop on non-viral cellular engineering, covering gene editing applications from discovery through to GMP manufacturing.
Recently, ACTRIS held a hands-on workshop titled “Advancing Non-viral Cellular Engineering: From Fundamentals to GMP Manufacturing” as part of the ACTRIS Signature Workshop 2026. Co-organised with MaxCyte, Inc. (opens in new tab), in collaboration with SciMed Asia (opens in new tab), the workshop brought together translational and clinical researchers, alongside scientists working in non-viral gene editing, for a day of theory and hands-on learning.
Participants explored the fundamentals of MaxCyte Flow Electroporation® technology and its application in non-viral gene editing, from discovery through to GMP manufacturing. The practical session featured a demonstration of the ExPERT GTx® system, providing participants with first-hand insights into the technology in practice.
