The regulatory approval of genetically modified T cells in treating aggressive forms of cancers have garnered strong interest from the clinical, scientific and investment sectors to develop these advanced cell-based therapies for multiple diseases. An overview of CAR technology, recent ground-breaking pre-clinical and clinical studies, manufacturing innovations as well as regulatory roadmaps that are enabling expedited access for such life-saving therapies to patients was also shared.
