Dr Tan is currently Medical Director of Paediatric Haematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation (HSCT) and Cellular Therapy Programme at the National University Health System (NUHS), Paediatric Haemato-Oncologist at the National University Hospital (NUH), and an Associate Professor in the Department of Paediatrics at the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, National University of Singapore.
Her primary work focuses on HSCT in paediatric high-risk cancers, haematological and immunological conditions, and the development of innovative HSCT and cellular therapy. She is the founding Chairwoman of VIVA-Asia BMT Consortium, a subsidiary of the VIVA Foundation for Children with Cancer, a regional collaborative clinical network for paediatric HSCT in Asia. She is Programme Director of Diploma in Paediatric Cancer Care at the Academy of Medicine, Singapore, and Programme Director of Advanced Clinical Fellowship in Paediatric HSCT at NUHS.
